110V 60 Hz & wants to use Overseas where electricity is 220V 50Hz. OR if you have
brought 220V 50 Hz Electrical items to US & want to use where electricity is 110V 60
Hz you can use them with Transformers.
However, Please not that transformer only changes Voltage & they do
not convert Cycle Hz.
To determine the size of Transformers required for your use, multiply
110V to the Amps rating mentioned on your appliance. This will give you the figure in
watts. Then choose the suitable Transformers from the below mentioned Tables:
